that's paul with the tentacles on the left (sideview), literally stuck in an archway between 2 worlds. powerless and blinded by that tentacle, he may be the key to saving the world from the impending seafood apocalypse. that thing on the clouds, that's crazy maya with her crazy big blade about to leap at paul. she fancies herself a savior and that miserable dying face below is lysanna. it's my visual interpretation of what must be going on in paul's head. *oils plus digital touch-ups. it sucks because you can only see the details if you magnify it

Great - I like the arch, it makes me think of a railway station .. I like Maya charging in like an angel of life/death, and Lysanna fading, and the pinks going to greys. The clock seems to say five to midnight, maybe the final deadline ..

very cool! I like how the view changes from between looking at it close up versus looking at if from far away. Close up you can see the duality of images. Faraway it feels like one lovecraftian beast I struggle to comprehend...as all lovecraftian creatures SHOULD be
