submission to Neil Gaiman’s ’ A Calendar of Tales’ July

another illustration of my favorite tale among the the 12- JULY TALE. wanted to visually depict the light side only of escapism thru art, specifically, the written art. how may times have books protected me from the world? i can't count...anyways, did this just for kicks....because i so love that 'july tale' it's the perfect!!
